Vic: Outpouring of tributes for David Hookes

MELBOURNE, Jan 20 AAP - Tributes and condolences have flowed in for former Australian
Test player David Hookes, who died in hospital last night from head injuries sustained
when he was punched to the ground outside a Melbourne pub on Sunday night.

Hookes, who had combined coaching the Victorian cricket team with sports commentating,
was celebrating an ING Cup one-day win over South Australia with teammates at the Beaconsfield
Hotel immediately before the fracas.
