THIS is the shocking moment a mob of teenage girls attacked a shopkeeper and kicked in his front door after he asked them to leave his store.

The gang, all aged about 14, who had caused trouble in the convenience shop before, grappled with him as he ushered them outside.

Then they were filmed kicking the windows of the front door as he tried to shut them out.

As the door swung back open, one girl smacked the 30-year-old shopkeeper in the face. The sound of her right hand striking his cheek can be heard on the video footage shot by a neighbour.

Shopkeeper Cagdas Acikgoz retreated inside. But the gang wasn't finished yet. Two more girls kicked the doors open, smashing the glass and causing [pounds sterling]250 damage. The five of them hurled abuse at him, then ran off.

The footage of the attack has been released as Bournemouth police appeal for help tracing the thugs.

But incredibly, one of the girls has apparently come forward to give her version of events on an internet message board.

The youngster, only identified as 'urmum1', claimed they were the 'scared' victims of an assault at the hands of a 'foreigner'.

In badly spelled English, she wrote: 'We are a group of friends who stick up for each ova .... i have never bullied anyone in ma life n never would.

'They grabbed my friend without warning and assaulted her....they thn grabbed me so yes i struggled ....

'The people who assulted us are liars and to be honest i am very happy that my friend kicked the window in.

'Wat u see in the picture is a couple of scared girls getting grabbed by some foreinger for something they were accusing us of doing.' Mr Acikgoz, originally from Turkey, told a very different story.

He explained how the girls had visited his store in Bournemouth two weeks previously. 'They were asked to leave then because they were smoking in the shop. There was a woman customer in the store at the time and when she told them to go they called her a geriatric whore,' he said.

'Then on Saturday they came back and I recognised them from before. I asked them nicely to leave repeatedly and they refused and used the F-word a lot and worse.

'Then I decided to use minimum force and grabbed one of them by the arm to get them out. I was then punched in the neck from behind.

'When I got them outside I tried to close the door on them.

'One of them was quite strong and she punched me.

'They then kicked at the door and glass went everywhere and at that point they ran off.'
